Privacy policy
Last updated 18 October 2026. Short version: we count visits and clicks so we can improve the site and show brands how many shoppers we send them. We don't ask for your name to use the site and we don't sell data. Hum aap ka data nahi bechte.
Who we are
SastaScene (sastascene.com) lists price drops that Pakistani brands show on their own websites. We are not affiliated with the brands listed.
When you browse the site
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and clicks: which pages you open, which deals you click, the words you type into our search box, and general device and location information that Google adds. We don't send Google your name, phone number, email or anything you type into a form. Google sets its own cookies for this; see Google's privacy policy. The admin area is never tracked.
Our own click counts. When you open a deal or a brand's website from SastaScene, we record which deal and brand
it was, the time, your device type, browser and operating system, the city filter you chose, the page you came from,
and a shortened IP address with the last part removed (we never store your full IP address).
Your browser keeps a random id in local storage (sastascene_session_id) so we can count returning visitors;
it isn't linked to your name or contact details.
When you send us a form
If you use "List your brand" or submit a flyer, we store what you enter (brand name, your name, email, phone number, website, city, message) and use it only to reply to you and handle your listing.
Who sees it
We don't sell personal data. We may show a brand totals such as how many clicks its deals received; those totals don't include anyone's contact details. Your data is stored on our own server.
Brand websites and social media
Links take you to the brand's own website, where its own privacy policy applies. We post our blog on our own Facebook and Instagram pages; we don't collect information from your social media accounts.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. To ask us to delete details you sent through a form, use "List your brand" on the home page and tell us which submission it was.
